There are a many sites that offer free link popularity checks for your URL. Why is it so important to have sites that link into you? Google and other search engines appear to be placing more value on links that are coming into a site, than they used too. It used to be that optimizing keywords and enhancing your meta tags would help. While the keywords and their placement is still critical I have seen articles that meta tags may not hold that much weight. Remember though that you want to be linked too quality sites, so if you are linking to sites that have been blacklisted by Google and other search engines, you will only hurt your chances of getting ranked higher in search engines for your keywords and topics.

Obama’s true intent for the Presidency

The Iowa caucus is officially over and the winners were Barack Obama and Mike Huckabee. The democratic race was close and the polls were leaning towards Obama, but Huckabee came from way back being outspent in the state nearly 20 to 1 by Mitt Romney. This will increase the political battle and the attack ads will certainly heat up. Obama in reports has always stated that becoming President was not a life long goal, but thanks to aggressive journalism a paper that was written by Obama in kindergarten contradicts this point.

Watch this comedy from Freddy Lockhart as he plays a Obama in the 1970’s on his wishes for the Presidency. This video portrays Obama as a college kid on mushrooms who accidentally finds the internet through his TV and the site called YouTube. No longer are gold and silver credit cards the thing to have. In an effort to offer consumers a reason to switch credit card companies, banks are finding new ways to pimp their cards. One company is getting ready to launch a “scratch and sniff” card that will smell like coffee or one of as many 90 smells. A company that makes the plastic cards, has prototypes for prospective banks that will have the fuzzy feel of a tennis ball, or the feel of a football. If banks can get consumers to use their cards, it is a win for them., There are so many choices and most consumers only switch cards every 3-5 years.

American Express is looking to roll out a Titanium credit card for their Centurion customers. These are customers they charge in excess of $250,000 per year. It is all about the prestige and the recognition factor. Who wouldn’t want to pull out a card to pay for those new jeans that looks like a tennis ball.
